The first thing you need to know about HiligBasa is that it is not an online learning platform. You can learn to read Filipino using HiligBasa, but you can’t learn to write the language using this app.
HiligBasa aims to help children in their Filipino reading. This free interactive app is divided into three parts.
The first part is the Pagbasa that provides the children with the basic knowledge of how to read a Filipino text.
The second part is the Pagsasanay that gives the children the opportunity to practice reading and learning to recognize and distinguish words in the Filipino language.
The third part is the Pagsusulit that provides the children with the opportunity to take quizzes and exams to test their reading skills.
